Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Duties
Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical components.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
