Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician

Foleys Garage Ltd have a rare opening for a Motor Vehicle Technician, to start immediately.

We are a small, family run independent garage and we are looking for someone with experience in servicing and repairing all makes of vehicles to join our small and friendly team.

The hours are 8 am to 5 pm Mon to Thu, 8 am to 4 pm Fri

There will be an opportunity to join the rota for 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Sat.

Starting salary £25,350 to £35,915 per hour based on experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a small and friendly team, working in the beautiful Isle of Purbeck.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to a high standard
Identify faults using diagnostic equipment and technical information
Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist in training and supporting junior team members where appropriate
Provide excellent customer service, explaining work required clearly

Skills and Experience:

Relevant motor vehicle qualifications or equivalent experience
Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills
