Are you a friendly, confident communicator who enjoys helping people and keeping things organised?

We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join a Salisbury-based business on a temporary basis. This is a varied role combining customer service, administration and database work, so you'll need to be comfortable speaking with customers as well as working accurately behind the scenes.

You'll be one of the first points of contact for customers, handling incoming calls, answering queries and making sure customers receive the right help and information.

What will you be doing?

• Handling incoming customer calls in a friendly and professional manner
• Answering general customer queries and providing information where possible
• Making changes to customer policy details, including name and address changes
• Updating customer records and maintaining accurate database information
• Processing administrative changes and ensuring records are kept up to date
• Identifying queries that need specialist assistance and forwarding them to the relevant team
• Liaising with colleagues to ensure customer queries are dealt with promptly
• Carrying out general administration and data entry
• Providing a helpful, professional and efficient service to every customer

Previous experience in customer service, administration or a telephone-based role would be useful, but we are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills and attention to detail.
