Responsibilities

• Act as direct line manager to the School Nursing Team across Sherwood Park Special Needs School Campus.
• Develop, promote and implement integrated working (internal and external) to improve service delivery and outcomes for children, young people and their families.
• Ensure all staff work to Sutton Health and Care and Epsom and St Helier Hospitals policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and guidelines; contribute to policy or service changes as appropriate.
• Work closely with the Head of Children's Services, Service Managers, and other Team Leaders across Children's Services.
• Ensure the agreed service specification is implemented and service reports are completed in a timely manner.
• Achieve key performance indicators for the Sherwood Park School Nursing and Children's Continence Service.
• Delegate appropriately to ensure consistent, coordinated care.
• Act as a specialist practitioner and provide guidance to other staff within the department and the wider organisation.
• Lead by example and maintain a high level of professional conduct at all times.
• Maintain awareness of information governance and data security issues.
