Team Leader

Full time permanent position at 30 hours per week. Working Monday to Sunday, 6:00am to midnight, with flexibility required to cover various shifts. Pay £14.63 per hour plus benefits.

About the role

Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager, you will help to lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds our customers' expectations and makes a difference in the local community.

Responsibilities

• Alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager: lead the store team to follow store policies, standards, and practices.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder responsibility.
• Be a positive role model to the team and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity.
• Train, manage workload and support your team, whilst being hands on in store - ensuring resources are optimised to deliver the best customer experience.
• Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, including implementing the store plan and priorities.
• Actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community.
• Cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be aged 18 years or over and have previous store retail experience.
• At least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a customer focused team.
• Ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and teammates.
• Target driven, focused on continuous improvement.
• Ability to inspire, fostering teamwork and customer service.
