A supportive and enthusiastic primary school in Litherland is looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis.The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Providing targeted 1:1 or small-group intervention
• Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
• Helping maintain a positive, nurturing, and well-organised classroom environment

Requirements

We are seeking someone who has:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (essential)
• A strong understanding of classroom support strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, flexible and supportive approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
