TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 3 SEN - Required from September 2026

Salary & Hours

• Full time permanent 36.25 hrs/week - actual salary £27,576-£28,985 (pro rata)
• Full time permanent 35 hrs/week - actual salary £26,624-£27,985
• Fixed term maternity cover 35 hrs/week - actual salary £26,624-£27,985 (1 year)
• Part time 3 days, 21.5 hrs/week - actual salary £16,355-£17,190

Responsibilities

• Support teachers by taking a lead role in the classroom, covering for the teacher when required.
• Develop and manage a specialist area of support within the school.
• Support the professional development of less experienced TAs.

Qualifications

• Holder of a TA3 or equivalent qualification (or currently working towards it).
• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Commitment to the school's vision that "together we make a difference".
