English Teacher (ECT) - Secondary School Location: Near Braintree, Essex Salary: MPS (ECT welcome) Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher of English to join our supportive and forward-thinking secondary school near Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to begin their teaching career in a welcoming environment with strong pastoral support and high aspirations for all students.

The Role You will: Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience) Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons Assess, monitor and support pupil progress effectively Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
