Zest Education is proud to be supporting a brand-new specialist school in Twickenham that caters for pupils aged 7-16 with ASD and SEMH needs. As the school continues to grow, we are looking to appoint several dedicated Teaching Assistant - Autism & Social Emotional Mental Health (ASD/SEMH) to join their expanding team.

Whether you're an experienced SEND practitioner or someone with strong transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with neurodiverse young people, we would love to hear from you.
What the role involves
- Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Working within small classes of 4-6 students
- Providing tailored support based on your experience and strengths
- Assisting with learning activities, emotional regulation and social development
- Some personal care may be required - training and support provided
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a positive, structured learning environment

What we're looking for
- Experience in SEND settings OR transferable skills (care, youth work, psychology, sports coaching, etc.)
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
- Ability to commit to full-time hours preferred, though part-time days may be considered
- A desire to build long-term relationships - this is a temp-to-perm role, and the school is keen to offer permanent contracts to the right people
