Salary and Benefits

About the Role

You will work with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your role is to support learning, development, and self esteem, contributing to a safe and successful journey in a well resourced environment at Gables Learning Centre.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and support students in achieving learning goals.
• Help pupils develop abilities and raise self esteem.
• Collaborate with therapists and support staff to meet individual needs.
• Provide consistent, resilient support in challenging situations.
• Participate in full induction, on the job training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Positive, "can do" attitude and team working spirit.
• Experience working in a classroom preferred, but initial training will be provided.
• Passion for supporting children to learn and making a real impact.
• Enthusiasm and expertise to support teachers and work closely with therapists.
