We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Criminology and Social Sciences to join our secondary school team, with a primary focus on Key Stage 5 (KS5). The successful candidate will inspire and challenge students, fostering a deep understanding of criminology and social sciences while developing critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.

If you are able to motivate all students to achieve or exceed their target grades, if you are passionate about Criminology, have an interest in being at the cutting edge and are driven to ensure students receive the best possible experience, then this job is for you.

You will be joining an excellent Social Sciences department that has a relentless focus on raising achievement. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher. (All our ECT's are well supported by an excellent induction programme).

About you
  • Qualified Teacher Status (ability to teach to Key Stage 5).
  • The ability to lead on the delivery, planning and assessment of Level 3 Criminology.
  • The ability to teach other social sciences (particularly A Level Psychology).
  • Be versatile to take on a range of activities.
  • Have the ability to work within a collaborative team.
  • Have high expectations of all learners.
  • Ability to teach out of subject if required
