Trust Strategic Inclusion Lead
Permanent, Part Time - 13 hours per week over 2 days per week
Salary: Leadership 10 - 14: £64,691 - £71,330 per annum pro rata
Actual Salary: £25,876 - £28,532 per annum
Location: Trust Offices at Rugeley John Taylor School. Requirement to travel to schools across the Trust

John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives - and the world. We are looking for an experienced professional to provide strategic leadership of our Inclusion provision across the Trust. The successful applicant will be a dedicated advocate for children with SEND, as well as having the ability to work at scale, and deploy staff effectively. Working closely with Trust senior leaders and Headteachers, you will ensure our provision is legally compliant leading on policy implementation and best practice. Building productive working relationships internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure our schools have well designed and led provision optimising the learning environment with the funding available. This role requires drive, diplomacy and tenacity, coupled with in-depth knowledge and understanding of regulations and statutory guidance.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher with at least 3 years of managing and advising on SEND provision within a primary or secondary school
- Have knowledge of the Ofsted framework and understanding of inclusion
- Understand "Every Child Achieving and Thriving (2026)" and have the capacity and experience to implement new changes
- Have the interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Be proficient in understanding, interpreting and implementing legislation and statutory guidance
- Have experience of devising and delivering training to groups of staff
