Tax Manager

• Provide Tax Advisory services to start-ups, scale-ups, private businesses, and FTSE-listed multinationals
• Advise clients on Corporation Tax and other complex tax issues
• Manage a portfolio of clients, including client take-on and engagement, billings, recoveries, and cash collection
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services using shared service teams and technology tools
• Build long-lasting client relationships through close collaboration and understanding of client businesses
• Manage own tasks proactively while collaborating with senior managers, Directors, and Partners
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and provide additional client services
• Lead complex tax projects
• Apply and support the Firm's quality control procedures

Requirements

• In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of taxation
• Specialist knowledge and ability to deal with complex tax issues
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Experience controlling client take-on and engagement, billings, recovery improvement opportunities, and cash collection
• Ability to provide tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients
• Ability to use resources from a shared service team or technology tools
• Understanding of potential risks to the Firm related to quality control procedures
• Experience leading complex projects
• Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of taxation and the ability to manage complex tax issues while providing tax compliance and advisory services. Proven experience in client portfolio management and leading complex tax projects, ensuring quality control and service delivery improvements.
