Tax Manager

A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Bradford is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team following a planned retirement. This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to a broad range of tax matters, with a particular focus on personal tax, inheritance tax (IHT), and trust work.The successful candidate will work closely with partners and clients, managing a diverse portfolio and providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring the smooth running of the tax function within the firm.The role is open to Tax professionals looking for a stable management role, as well as those looking to advance to salaried and then equity partner.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns.
• Advise on inheritance tax planning and trust structures.
• Oversee trust tax compliance and administration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required.
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships.

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced tax professional, ideally CTA or ATT qualified (or qualified by experience).
• Strong knowledge of personal tax, IHT, and trusts.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
