Tax & Trust Director - Probate and IHT

We're recruiting for a senior-level Tax & Trust Director to lead and expand a thriving trust, probate, and inheritance tax practice. If you're a seasoned professional in trust taxation, non-contentious probate, and inheritance tax, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to make an impact within a highly skilled team.

As Director, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of trust, probate, and estate planning services. You'll work directly with clients to scope, price, and onboard new cases, ensuring smooth engagement and compliance with KYC requirements. Beyond compliance, you'll offer strategic estate planning advice, helping clients navigate the complexities of Wills, probate, and inheritance tax.

Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, preparing and reviewing estate and trust tax returns, liaising with HMRC and HMCTS, and overseeing the full probate process. You'll delegate and review the work of your team, mentoring junior members and ensuring top-tier client service across all engagements. Additionally, you'll identify growth opportunities to expand the practice's reach.
