Our Client who is a leading provider of Technology, Civil Engineering, Design and Telecommunications services with the Highways sector are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager/Buyer to join the at there Yorkshire office.

The Role

• Building and maintaining relationships with Suppliers and Subcontractors
• Purchasing of materials, equipment and services
• Coordinating delivery of materials and equipment
• Responsible for the stock management
• Managing the on and off hire of plant whilst maintaining appropriate levels of plant
• Negotiating the best price on goods and services
• Work with the Quality Manager to ensure the services and goods provided are compliant
• Maintaining the Supplier Database

Candidate Requirements

• Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders
• Experience in negotiating
• Strongadministration
• Adaptability to work on multiple activities simultaneously
• Experience of MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of the Highways /Construction Sector
