Supply Chain Manager

Location: Brentwood, Essex (Hybrid - 3 Days On Site)
Salary: Circa £50,000

IMPACT EVOLVE are partnering with SUNS Lifestyle to hire their first Supply Chain Manager - a high-impact role at a premium, design-led outdoor living brand entering a major growth phase.

This is a hands on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, under-structured environments. You'll build structure and visibility across the full demand-supply cycle, manage European suppliers, own quality issues, and take responsibility for all inbound planning, forecasting and purchasing. Longer term, the role evolves into deeper sourcing, supplier travel (mainly Netherlands), and future factory assessment as the brand continues to scale.

• Build and maintain a rolling demand forecast and translate it into clear supply and purchasing plans.

• Raise and manage POs end to end, ensuring strong inbound visibility and proactive communication.

• Manage supplier relationships, enforce SLAs and own quality issue resolution.

• Oversee imports, customs and freight; provide regular container/inbound updates.

• Improve planning tools, reporting and Odoo usage; reduce spreadsheet dependency.

• Run weekly planning reviews across Sales, CS, Ops and Warehouse.

• Longer term: support sourcing, supplier selection and product development.

• Strong experience in demand/supply planning, purchasing or inventory led roles.

• Confident managing imports, customs and multi modal freight.

• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; able to build tools/trackers from scratch.

• Hands on, proactive operator used to entrepreneurial environments.

• Comfortable working cross functionally and managing supplier performance.

• Nice to have: Odoo experience, European or Far East supplier exposure.

• Reliable forecasts, clear inbound visibility and structured planning rhythms.

• Supplier performance improving and quality issues resolved faster.

• Predictable imports and reduced firefighting.

• Sales and CS have accurate insight into stock and installation timelines.

• Leadership feels the supply chain is controlled and improving.
