Location & Availability

Newton Community School District - all school buildings. Available for the School Year.

Pay Rates

• Base Rate: Hourly $20
• 8 hour day: $160
• 4 hour day: $80
• Long term rate (after day 21 of consecutive assignment for the same classroom): $25.98 per hour (requires Teacher or Substitute License).

Requirements

• Current Iowa licensure (Teacher, Substitute License, or Substitute Authorization)
• Copy of Iowa Teaching License
• Copy of Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate
• Transcripts from university/college

Application Process

Apply online and upload a cover letter addressed to Laura Selover, Director of Human Resources. After submission, HR will receive notification, send a DCI background check form, and upon approval provide onboarding information.
