- Provide personalised support and assistance to students with SEN, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional needs are met
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Facilitate engaging and enriching learning activities that cater to the unique learning styles and abilities of each student
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with parents/guardians and the broader educational team
- Offer a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the development of essential life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and self-advocacy
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials, resources, and equipment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN

Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs, either in a school setting or a similar support role
- A strong understanding of the principles of inclusive education and the diverse needs of students with SEN

- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and personal growth of students with SEN
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of support strategies
- Familiarity with relevant educational policies, legislation, and best practices in the field of special educational needs
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Ideally, a recognised qualification in education, social work, or a related field
