Funds Counsel

Our Client

A respected private markets investor with a global footprint, is looking to strengthen its core legal team with a strong alternatives associate from a leading private practice funds team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on structuring and life cycle management of UK and EU funds
• Provide regulatory advisory support on UK and EU funds and relevant regulatory developments
• Support broader business including investments, finance, operations and compliance
• Work with other in house counsel and external counsel, as required
• Lead on commercial contract negotiation and vendor oversight and management

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales
• 2-5 years PQE
• Strong track record in a recognised private funds practice
• In house experience is not essential but highly desirable
• Strong academic track record (min. 2.1 BA, undergrad, and LLM)
• Must have the right to work in the UK - this role will not be sponsored
