Structured Cabling Engineer

Overview

DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer for a project in Chard. Due to start Monday 22nd September. 1 - 2 month contract. M-F 8 hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilise hand, termination, and power, tools and equipment for installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems.
• Cat5/6 installation from pulling in to termination and test

Requirements

• CSCS/ECS card. Related discipline ECS such as datacomms installer, field engineer, or network engineer is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum of 3 years experience installing internal structured cabling and it's systems
• You must have your own PPE and hand/termination tools for carrying out cabling installs including a combi drill as minimum
