Store Manger - Maternity Cover - 40 Hours - Sweaty Betty

Wolverine Worldwide is a global marketer of branded footwear, apparel and accessories, operating in approximately 200 countries and territories.Our Store Managers lead teams with a passion for sales, customer service and brand advocacy, while delivering results across all P&L areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model, motivating and engaging the team to embody the brand values each day.
• Take full ownership of sales, profit results and cost management, including payroll and P&L reporting.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate exemplary behaviours for the team.
• Communicate efficiently both on the floor and behind the scenes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, community partners and internal stakeholders.
• Foster a supportive, productive, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure all policies, operational standards and procedures are communicated, understood and implemented, including security, health & safety and stock management.
• Identify innovative methods to boost customer loyalty and drive the brand locally within the community.
• Work with the wider business to ensure prompt stock placement and support smooth overall store operations.
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring team adherence to new ways of working.
• Create memorable experiences for customers through authentic, high quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role within a fast paced, client focused retail environment.
• Commercial mindset with a proven sales background and experience setting and delivering store KPIs.
• Flexible and adaptable, capable of working mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for the brand and its lifestyle positioning.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in POS systems and budget management, including payroll and expenses.
• Exceptional customer service and team management skills with a track record of developing others.
• Awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
