Job Description
Overview 
The Store Manager oversees daily operations, drives sales performance, manages a team of motivated employees, and ensures exceptional customer service to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities- Run all store operations to meet or exceed sales and KPI targets; set clear sales goals, track performance, and evolve processes to drive continuous store growth.
- Create and maintain colleague schedules to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
- Build a positive team culture through recruiting, training, and developing the team to enable store success.
- Analyse sales data and financial reports to make informed decisions and identify opportunities operationally and commercially.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Attract, engage, and motivate customers to purchase using best-in-class visual merchandising; ensure merchandise displays align with brand guidelines.
- Deliver the highest level of in-store service to achieve a positive Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Drive existing customer loyalty programs and promotions to enhance engagement.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and control store expenses to stay within budget; ensure health & safety standards are met.
- Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to achieving or exceeding the store's monthly sales target.
- Drive additional KPIs including but not limited to Units, Conversion, ATV, and UPT.
- Achieve upselling or cross-selling targets and maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
- Ensure stock accuracy during store audits.
- Ensure all new colleagues complete mandatory training and that employee engagement meets company benchmarks.
- Keep operational costs within the allocated budget.
- Previous management experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
- Passionate about retail with a strong understanding of latest trends and competitors.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing and exceeding sales targets and KPIs; ability to analyse reports and make commercial decisions.
- Keen eye for detail and commerciality; experience in visual merchandising is advantageous.
