Age UK South Cumbria is a leading charity dedicated to supporting older people in the South Cumbria area. We provide a wide range of services to enhance the lives of older individuals, promoting independence and enabling access to vital information and support.

We currently have a vacancy for a Store Manager to manage our new charity store soon to open on Roose Road, Barrow-in-Furness.

The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Managing the effective operation and the day to day running of the store
• Managing and training store associates and volunteers
• Conducting staff appraisals with store associates
• Maintaining effective stock management and merchandising
• Responsibility for optimising sales
• Carrying out shop administration

This is a Full-time position up to 35 hours per week (5 days over 7) and will involve some weekends.

Salary: £22,986.60 - £23,514
