Job Description

Spencer Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning communications agency to recruit an Account Manager to join its growing Sponsorship Team.

The agency helps brands connect with audiences through sport, culture, PR and social media. This role offers the opportunity to develop creative sponsorship campaigns, manage client relationships and bring ideas to life across PR, marketing and social content.

The Role

You will help shape and deliver clients' sponsorship plans, combining creative thinking with strong organisation and excellent client service. You will manage campaigns from planning through to delivery, keeping budgets, deadlines and execution on track.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing day-to-day advice and support.
  • Develop and deliver sponsorship campaigns that connect brands with sport and culture.
  • Shape integrated PR, marketing and social media plans.
  • Coordinate content creation, particularly for social channels.
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines and delivery.
  • Build relationships with media, industry contacts and third-party partners.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver creative ideas and high-quality campaigns.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and the growth of existing client accounts.
About You
  • At least 4 years' experience in sponsorship, PR, marketing or communications, preferably within an agency.
  • Experience delivering sports marketing or sponsorship campaigns, with knowledge of the Irish sponsorship landscape.
  • A natural relationship builder with strong client management skills.
  • Creative and culturally curious, with an interest in sport, storytelling and PR.
  • Experience managing content creation, particularly for social media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail and confidence managing budgets and deadlines.
  • A hands-on approach, with the ability to develop plans and deliver them.
  • An established network of relevant industry, media or partner contacts.
  • Experience contributing to business development or client growth.
  • An interest in Gaelic games would be an advantage.
