Job Title:Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry
Grade:Specialty Doctor
Location:Liverpool, Merseyside
Working Hours:40 hours per week
Rate:Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Liverpool, Merseyside. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

We are looking for a Specialty Doctor to join the General Adult Inpatient Psychiatry team. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and supporting the development of individualised treatment plans. The role requires Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval. You will be expected to comply with all legal obligations under the Mental Health Act (MHA), assess patients under the MHA, and contribute to care planning and clinical decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval
• Approved Clinician status
• Experience in General Adult Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient settings
