Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef

As our clients new Sous Chef, you will be instrumental in supporting the Head Chef, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the brigade. Your expertise will be vital in training and mentoring junior chefs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. You will direct food presentation, meticulously ensuring every dish not only meets but exceeds the highest standards before reaching our valued customers, and you will be encouraged to suggest innovative menu improvements. Your role will involve performing high-level cooking tasks, expertly managing specific sections of the kitchen, and maintaining unwavering strict food safety and allergen compliance at all times.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are seeking a Sous Chef with an impressive background and a true passion for culinary distinction. Essential for this role is previous experience gained within luxury kitchens and a demonstrable history of working to multi-rosette standards. You will have a track record of longevity and progression in your previous roles, illustrating your commitment and ambition. Candidates must be able to give clear examples of their leadership capabilities and their unwavering dedication to maintaining high standards. Excellent communication skills in English are a must, along with proven experience in a similar senior role within the hospitality sector.
