Social Worker - Community adult mental health

Social Worker adult mental health service, South Dublin

Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client, the HSE are recruiting for a to work as part of a community based adult mental health service based in Dublin 14, the role will also involve working with some inpatients in a mental health unit in Dublin 4.

The team works with service users and their families living with serious mental illnesses including a diagnosis of Schizophrenia and Bi Polar Disorder, depression, anxiety and emotional dysregulation - up to 65 years of age and above.

The Social Work Service operates within a recovery focused model of service delivery and the social worker is expected to be familiar with and provide services within this model.

Essential requirements are:

• A recognised qualification as a Social Worker with CORU registration
• Some post graduate experience as a social worker with a significant amount of experience working in a mental health or similar setting. Placement experience will also be considered
• Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
• Additional training / qualifications in therapeutic approaches to working with adults
