We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead a frontline children's social work team across assessment, Child in Need, Child Protection, pre-proceedings, and care proceedings. • Oversee assessments, CP plans, CIN work, PLO activities, and court proceedings.
• Provide regular supervision, challenge, and support for social workers, maintaining visibility and availability to your team.
• Address performance issues directly, supporting staff in managing challenging conversations.
• Collaborate closely with senior managers and partner agencies, promoting good recording and timely visits.
• Ensure children remain at the heart of all decision making, balancing support with accountability.
• Make confident decisions and elevate issues when necessary, ensuring risks are addressed and work is progressed within timescales.
