Pin Point Recruitment are working in partnership with a global manufacturer in the search for a senior Site Lead to head up their new manufacturing facility in Sunderland.

The company have recently taken the next exciting steps in their business scale-up with the opening of a state of the art manufacturing facility in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

With a global customer base spanning multiple industry sectors, the highly skilled team are building robust engineering solutions to meet the demands of a wide range of applications.

With ambitious plans to scale the business we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Lead to join the team on their journey and drive expansion efforts.

• Proven operational leadership within an engineering/manufacturing environment, in a position such as Operations Director, Site Lead, General Manager etc
• Strategic thinking with strong leadership skills
• A proven track record of managing day-to-day operations while also contributing to long-term corporate growth strategies.
• Technical nous, with exposure to product development and engineering change process
• Degree educated in a relevant field is a benefit, but not as important as the experience you'll bring with you

• Overseeing all operations at the manufacturing site, effectively managing the business as it scales up.
• Developing a high-performing team, fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
• Leading the team through the various challenges of a new factory set-up
• Working with the Board to develop and implement growth strategies
• Implementing process improvements & cost-saving initiatives (without compromising quality) to enhance operational scalability
• Forging strong relationships with key suppliers & customers
