Job Description
Site Engineer- Lusk The CSR Group are working with a contractor who is seeking a Site Manager to join their team on an active project in Lusk, North Dublin. The project involves an internal fit-out at a food production plant, including framing, retaining walls and structural works. The client is keen to speak with experienced Site Managers who have a strong background in civils and engineering. The project is likely to extend beyond January, with further projects to follow. Package €70,000 €80,000 depending on experience. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress safely and in line with the programme. Oversee the delivery of internal fit-out, framing, retaining walls and structural works. Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant and material deliveries. Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and comply with drawings and specifications. Plan upcoming activities and manage resources to maintain progress. Work closely with the project team to resolve technical queries and site issues. Carry out site inspections, monitor workmanship and oversee snagging. Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates. Lead site health and safety, ensuring procedures are followed by all personnel. Liaise with the client, consultants and subcontractors throughout the works. Requirements Previous experience working as a Site Manager on civil, structural or commercial construction projects. A strong background in civils and engineering. Experience with internal fit-out, framing and retaining walls would be advantageous. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day site activities. Strong knowledge of site health and safety requirements. Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage programme deadlines while maintaining quality standards. A proactive, hands-on approach to site management. This is a site-based position in Lusk, North Dublin, on a project already underway. The works are likely to continue beyond January, with follow-on projects offering the opportunity for continued work.
