Job Description

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a major tunnelling scheme in Ipswich, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team delivering complex underground infrastructure works on a long-term project.

Health and safety compliance

Ordering materials

Supervising subcontractors and site teams

Coordinating tunnelling activities and associated civil engineering works

Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification

Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits, and temporary works

Overseeing quality control, inspections, and site records

Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and client reporting

Black or Gold CSCS

SMSTS

Previous experience managing tunnelling or major civil engineering projects

Experience with shaft sinking, SCL, TBM, pipe jacking, or microtunnelling would be advantageous
