We are hiring for our client, a leading construction and modular building contractor, who are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee major commercial and residential projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable travelling regularly throughout the UK.

The successful Site Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations from groundworks through to project completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
  • Oversee all phases of construction including RC frame, steel frame, roofing, fit-out and M&E works
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Conduct site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
  • Maintain health & safety standards and site documentation
  • Drive productivity and resolve site issues effectively
The Person

To be considered for this Site Manager role, you should have:

  • 5-10 years' experience as a Site Manager within a main contractor
  • Experience delivering large commercial/retail projects
  • SMSTS certification and valid CSR Card
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes from groundworks to fit-out
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK on a weekly basis
