About the Role

Job Role: Site Manager

Employment Type: Permanent - Immediate start

Location: Hampstead Campus

Salary Range: £35,000pa to £37,000pa (depending on experience) plus £2,000pa (cleaning team management allowance)

Southbank, a respected independent international school is seeking a proactive and reliable Site Manager to oversee the daily operation, safety, and maintenance of its premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the school site, management of the cleaning team, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. Southbank values its facilities team and recognises the importance of a safe, well maintained environment for pupils and staff.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking someone who is practical, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and high quality learning environment. You will bring strong technical understanding across building systems, health and safety, and site operations, along with the confidence to solve problems under pressure. You'll be comfortable managing your own workload, leading support staff, and communicating effectively with colleagues, contractors, and visitors. You should be someone who takes pride in high standards, works with integrity, and is willing to get involved in all aspects of site care-from security and compliance checks to maintenance, energy conservation, and supporting school events. Above all, you will care deeply about contributing to a safe, welcoming place for children to learn and grow.
