Shipping Coordinator (Mandarin or Cantonese Speaking, £28k, Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry, London)

Company: Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry, London.

• Oversee all shipping to and from multiple countries.
• Complete relevant paperwork and coordinate with freight forwarders.
• Communicate with internal departments to provide excellent customer service while adhering to current Brexit requirements.

• Minimum 2 years experience working in an Export/Import function for a multinational company with a London HQ.
• Proficiency with imports from China and the Far East, and shipping to Europe and the United States using proper codes and customs papers.
• Excellent knowledge of Brexit shipping legislation, and UK/foreign export/import processes.
• Experience in a stand alone shipping position, responsible for importing and exporting items according to strict guidelines and timelines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related field preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work independently to meet deadlines.
• Team player focused on colleagues and clients.
• Excellent command of English, both verbally and in writing.
• Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is an asset.
• Logical thinker with great organisational abilities.
• Capacity to work under duress in a fast paced, high volume setting.
• Excellent MS Office skills and familiarity with a custom built in house system.
