The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop a team of field service engineers supporting a wide portfolio of commercial catering equipment across client sites in ROI.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will take ownership of service delivery, drive operational efficiency, and ensure exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of field service engineers and technicians
  • Plan, schedule and allocate service calls to meet client demand and SLAs
  • Monitor performance, set KPIs and drive continuous improvement
Service Operations
  • Oversee installation, planned maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Ensure all service work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate service records, reporting and documentation
Customer & Client Management
  • Act as the main point of contact for key service clients
  • Manage escalations and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Build strong, long term client relationships
Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety, HACCP and relevant industry standards
  • Carry out audits and maintain quality control across all service activity
  • Implement best practice processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Inventory & Supplier Management
  • Manage spare parts inventory and stock control
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure availability and cost efficiency
Commercial & Reporting
  • Support budgeting and cost control within the service function
  • Track and report on KPIs including response times, first time fix and customer satisfaction
About You
  • Proven experience managing a service or engineering team (ideally within catering or commercial equipment)
  • Strong technical understanding (electrical or mechanical background preferred)
  • Excellent leadership, planning and organisational skills
  • Customer focused with strong problem solving ability
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience working with commercial catering equipment
  • Familiarity with service management systems / CRM tools
  • Knowledge of Irish health & safety and HACCP standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
