Service Advisor Vacancy

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a busy dealership in Orpington. Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is desirable but not essential; applicants with strong customer-facing experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work to targets will also be considered.

Job Details:

Location: Orpington
Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus, OTE £40,000
Joining Bonus: £1,000 in month one + £1,000 after 12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, plus 1 in 5 Saturdays, 8:00am-12:30pm

Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Service Advisor Role

• Act as the main link between customers and the workshop
• Manage customer expectations throughout servicing and repair work
• Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and completion times
• Build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service
• Explain and recommend relevant additional products and services
• Follow up with customers after work is completed
• Work efficiently to achieve customer service and commercial targets

Service Advisor Requirements

• Strong customer service and customer-facing experience
• Previous Service Advisor or automotive Aftersales experience is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence working towards targets and deadlines
• Strong organisational skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
