Service Advisor / Receptionist Required

A well-established independent garage in Haywards Heath is looking to recruit a Service Advisor / Receptionist to join its friendly and professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor, Automotive Receptionist, Service Administrator, Aftersales Advisor, or customer-focused individual looking to build a long-term career within the motor trade.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive outstanding service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Booking vehicles in for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Greeting customers and managing reception duties
• Answering incoming telephone and email enquiries
• Providing service updates and communicating repair requirements
• Preparing estimates, invoices, and job cards
• Liaising with technicians and workshop staff
• Processing customer payments
• Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Automotive Receptionist, Service Administrator, Customer Service Advisor, or similar role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
• Good IT and computer skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
• Automotive industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate
