Job Description

Brindley Group are looking for a Master Technician & MOT Tester to join the team at our busy Approved Nissan Service Centre in Cannock. This is a full time, 40 hours per week role with some Saturdays on a rota system and paid as overtime. This role allows for career progression with appropriate training and assistance available.

We require an individual who holds a level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and must be EV trained. The successful candidate will be able to ensure any diagnosis work is carried out to a high standard. Along with servicing and MOT's, the successful candidate must have the ability to work well both independently and within a team with a high level of care for the customers vehicle. We're ideally looking for someone who is available to start immediately if possible.

About the role
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults as a Master Technician
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Support and mentor junior technicians in the workshop environment
  • Accurately complete job cards, digital reports, and documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Keep technical knowledge current through manufacturer training and certifications
About you
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification or equivalent
  • Must be EV trained
  • Proven experience as a Master Technician within the motor trade
  • Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and focus on quality
