Senior Support Worker

Salary

£13.75 to £14.20 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).

Hours

40.25 hours per week.

Overview

Orbis Education and Care is proud to present Ty Seren, a residential home in Swansea dedicated to supporting adults with autism and complex needs. We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to assist the Home Manager in leading the home and creating an inclusive, empowering environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as shift leader.
• Ensure service quality standards are maintained.
• Participate in the on call rota.
• Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans.
• Promote and celebrate home achievements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a positive support environment.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations.
• Lead by example and act as a positive role model.
• Familiarity with company policies and standards.
• Understand and adhere to safeguarding procedures.
• Good awareness of conducting health and safety risk assessments.

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
