Qualifications & Experience
  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Hands-on expertise in ISH, IHC, IF and tissue handling (FFPE and/or fresh frozen)
  • Experience with image analysis tools and molecular biology methods (e.g., RT-qPCR)
  • Strong data interpretation and communication skills
Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in validating novel targets using both molecular and tissue-based approaches:

  • Perform and optimise tissue-based assays (ISH, IHC, IF)
  • Support RT-qPCR and related workflows
  • Analyse and interpret high-quality scientific data
  • Ensure accurate documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate across Discovery, Translational Research and Preclinical projects
  • Troubleshoot assays and contribute to new methods development
  • Engage with CROs for external studies when needed
Skills / Technical Competencies
  • Advanced tissue-based assay optimisation
  • Molecular biology techniques and data analysis
  • Familiarity with imaging and statistical analysis tools
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in oncology or biomarker discovery
  • Previous work in biopharma or translational research
  • Knowledge of CRO collaborations
