Qualifications & Experience- PhD in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Hands-on expertise in ISH, IHC, IF and tissue handling (FFPE and/or fresh frozen)
- Experience with image analysis tools and molecular biology methods (e.g., RT-qPCR)
- Strong data interpretation and communication skills
You will play a critical role in validating novel targets using both molecular and tissue-based approaches:
- Perform and optimise tissue-based assays (ISH, IHC, IF)
- Support RT-qPCR and related workflows
- Analyse and interpret high-quality scientific data
- Ensure accurate documentation and knowledge transfer
- Collaborate across Discovery, Translational Research and Preclinical projects
- Troubleshoot assays and contribute to new methods development
- Engage with CROs for external studies when needed
- Advanced tissue-based assay optimisation
- Molecular biology techniques and data analysis
- Familiarity with imaging and statistical analysis tools
- Experience in oncology or biomarker discovery
- Previous work in biopharma or translational research
- Knowledge of CRO collaborations
