Job Description
Focus, Scope & Impact: 
The Sr. Manager, Treasury is responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury management within the organization. This includes managing cash flow including forecasts, optimizing liquidity, mitigating financial risks, and developing and implementing treasury strategies. The Sr. Manager, Treasury plays a vital role in financial planning and decision-making processes.
A key aspect of the role is the development and further improvement of the Treasury function within this business area.
The role covers all Costa legal entities and operating units.
Key Success Parameters: Experience- Over 5 years of treasury experience and manager or senior manager level, ideally with experience of treasury in a global operating business.
- A recognized treasury qualification is advantageous but not a requirement as relevant industry experience is a key consideration.
- Experience of managing a team across a diverse and wide-ranging set of processes and deliverables.
- Understanding of risk management principles, ability to write and develop policies and processes to reduce risk and create an environment of control where Cash or other Treasury items are involved.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Monitor daily cash balances and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Forecast cash flows and manage short-term investments to optimize returns.
- Execute payments, transfers, and wire transactions accurately and on time.
- Alongside the cash and banking manager & Treasury Administrators manage cash inflows and outflows from business operations ensuring adequate reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze treasury-related financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Record daily financial transactions into the organization's accounting software or ERP system, primarily linked to banking entries from bank account statements.
- Ensure accurate coding of transactions and adherence to established accounting policies.
- Reconciliation of Bank accounts to statements.
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including commodity, currency, and credit risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies such as hedging and insurance.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, including the internal Coca Cola bank lead by the corporate treasury teams.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of banking services and credit facilities.
- Evaluate and select banking partners to meet the organization's needs.
- Develop and enforce treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard financial assets.
- Collaborate with finance teams, including accounting, treasury, and internal audit.
- Coordinate activities and timelines to meet reporting deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the financial close process.
- Implement best practices and automation where applicable.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits.
- Address audit inquiries and provide documentation as needed.
- Communicate with various departments, including OU Finance teams, FP&A, Source to Pay, Order to Cash, legal, tax and wider Coca Cola Company teams.
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team and various departments to gather and verify financial information.
- Delivery of standard approaches to interaction and communication into the accounting services team.
- Experience at Treasury Manager/Senior Manager level in a global business.
- Strong financial modelling ability and experience of building cashflow forecasts and reporting that are accurate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Attention to detail is critical to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Ability to write, develop treasury policies and a high level of awareness with relevant regulations.
