Senior IAM Engineer - Customer Identity Focus

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer to help shape and deliver a major identity transformation project. This is your chance to be right at the heart of a strategic roll-out, designing and implementing enterprise-wide IAM solutions that will define the security perimeter for years to come.

You'll take the lead on Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) - building, configuring, and integrating modern, secure identity journeys using Microsoft Entra ID for enterprise identity and Okta/Auth0 (or other major CIAM platforms) for external customer authentication. To succeed, you'll need to bring proven experience of implementing at least one other enterprise CIAM system - not just using it, but owning the full design and deployment.

You'll be doing things like:

• Leading the build and rollout of secure, scalable IAM solutions using Entra ID and Okta/Auth0 (or similar).
• Designing and customising authentication flows, provisioning processes, and access policies using modern standards (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM).
• Integrating IAM with APIs, third-party apps, and customer-facing platforms.
• Driving adoption of identity best practice - RBAC, MFA, life cycle management, privileged access governance.
• Working closely with security teams to spot risks early and fix them fast.
• Streamlining IAM processes with automation and keeping the user experience front and centre.

What we're after:

• Strong, hands-on IAM engineering background with Entra ID and CIAM implementation.
• Must have experience implementing another enterprise CIAM platform from the ground up - for example:
• Ping Identity
• ForgeRock
• IBM Security Verify
• OneLogin
• AWS Cognito
• Azure AD B2C
• Keycloak
• SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya)
• WSO2 Identity Server
• Oracle Identity Cloud Service
• Solid grasp of identity federation, RBAC, authentication and authorisation models, and integrating with enterprise and cloud-native systems.
• Comfortable taking ownership, solving complex problems, and working across both technical and non-technical teams.
