Senior Change Manager

Cheshire West and Chester Council is looking for an inspirational, strategic and forward-thinking leader to join our Change Team and help shape the future of public services across the borough.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Change Manager to join Cheshire West and Chester Council's Change Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in transforming how we deliver services, ensuring that the Council can continue to meet the needs of residents, communities and businesses in an increasingly complex and fast-changing environment.

The Change Team is a highly regarded and well-established service within Corporate Services, with a strong track record of delivering major programmes that improve outcomes for residents whilst ensuring value for money. As Senior Change Manager, you will act as the Business Partner for Places and Growth and Corporate Services and lead the Council's Change Team responsible for supporting Major Programmes aligned to these directorates, including Programme Managers, Project Managers / Business Analysts and the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing strategic leadership and direction across a significant portfolio of organisational change.

Working closely with senior leaders and elected Members, you will help shape the Council's change agenda, identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of our highest priority programmes. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor, ensuring major change initiatives are effectively scoped, governed and delivered, with a strong focus on benefits realisation and excellent outcomes for residents.

We are looking for an experienced change leader with a strong track record of delivering complex transformation programmes at scale. You will be comfortable operating at the most senior levels of an organisation, leading multidisciplinary teams, influencing stakeholders, and bringing people together to solve complex challenges. You will be passionate about modern public services, continuous improvement and developing organisational capability to deliver successful change.
