Job Title: Senior Authorised Person (SAP) - Distribution Switching Operations
Location: Primarily Southern Scotland with potential travel across the UK

We are seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our clients team, supporting ongoing work on the electricity distribution network. This role involves undertaking distribution switching operations on the overhead network.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high-voltage (HV) systems, while working to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out distribution switching operations on the overhead electricity distribution network.
• Ensure compliance with Distribution Safety Rules and all relevant Health & Safety regulations.
• Manage and control safe systems of work during HV operations.
• Provide technical expertise and decision-making in relation to HV electrical distribution systems.
• Travel to various sites across Scotland and the wider UK when required.
• Work overtime and weekends where necessary to meet operational requirements.

Requirements

• Full Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation.
• Proven track record in the electrical / distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures, distribution safety rules, and HV systems.
• Valid UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across regions.
