We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a highly regarded SEND School in the heart of Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, where you'll have the chance to work with children who need a compassionate and skilled educator to guide them on their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, individualized lessons tailored to the needs of students with a variety of learning difficulties.
- Work closely with a team of professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, ensuring that each child's needs are met and celebrated.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere to promote the development of both academic and social skills.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching students with special educational needs, or a strong passion for SEND education.
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
