SEND Teacher - Surrey

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school setting within Surrey. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced SEND specialist or a teacher looking to further develop their expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised teaching that promotes academic progress, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes
- Create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Implement targeted interventions and behaviour support strategies
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND
- Strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive classroom strategies
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
