SEN Teaching Assistant

Academics are seeking a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a supportive primary school in Canterbury. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in pupils' daily learning experiences.

What you'll do as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
• Support personalised learning activities
• Encourage emotional regulation and engagement
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment

What we're looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Patient and adaptable approach
• Strong teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• You must have right to work in the UK in order to apply - unfortunately we cannot offer Visa sponsorship.
