Semi Skilled Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Labourer to assist with a variety of construction, maintenance, and general labouring tasks. The successful candidate will support skilled tradespeople, operate basic tools and equipment, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Assist skilled tradespeople with daily work activities.
• Carry out general labouring duties, including lifting, loading, and moving materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring they are clean and organised.
• Assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any equipment faults, hazards, or incidents to supervisors.
• Support site operations as required to meet project deadlines.
• Handle and store materials and equipment correctly.

• Previous experience in a labouring, construction, manufacturing, or maintenance environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Awareness of workplace health and safety practices.

• Practical problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to learn new skills.
• Relevant site certifications (e.g., CSCS card) desirable but not essential.
